One Change For Royals Clash

TONY PULIS made one change to his starting line-up for Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash against in-form Reading.

American international Geoff Cameron, who featured for his native in Honduras on Wednesday night, dropped down to the bench to accommodate a return to the side for winger Michael Kightly.

The former Wolves man, who opened his City account against the Royals on the opening day of the campaign, started on the right hand side of a four-man midfield, which also included Matthew Etherington, Glenn Whelan and Steven Nzonzi.

The City boss deployed a 4-4-2 formation, with the backline consisting of Asmir Begovic, Andy Wilkinson, Robert Huth, skipper Ryan Shawcross and Ryan Shotton.

England international Peter Crouch retained his spot up-front, alongside Republic of Ireland international Jonathan Walters.

Deadline day signing Brek Shea wasn't named in the matchday squad, however, the bench did include the likes of Charlie Adam, Michael Owen, Kenwyne Jones and Cameron Jerome.

Stoke City: Begovic; Wilkinson, Shawcross (c), Huth, Shotton; Kightly, Nzonzi, Whelan, Etherington; Walters, Crouch. Subs: Sorensen, Cameron, Whitehead, Adam, Jerome, Jones, Owen.
