Palacios Handed City Start

WILSON PALACIOS was handed his first Premier League start of the season at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon as boss Mark Hughes made three changes to his starting line-up.

The Honduran international was included in the side at the expense of Charlie Adam, whilst Geoff Cameron overcame a calf injury in time to feature with Peter Crouch also being recalled.

Cameron's return at full-back meant a spot on the bench for Andy Wilkinson, as well as Oussama Assaidi, who was replaced in the team by England international Crouch.

STOKE CITY: Begovic; Cameron, Shawcross (c), Huth, Pieters; Walters, Nzonzi, Palacios, Assaidi, Arnautovic; Crouch. Subs: Sorensen, Wilkinson, Adam, Whelan, Wilson, Assaidi, Jones.
