Poppy Shirts Auction - Latest Bids

Darren Fletcher

STOKE CITY are auctioning off limited-edition match-worn shirts for the ninth successive season in aid of the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.

First team players wore 'poppy shirts' for the 2-2 draw with Leicester City earlier this month at the bet365 Stadium.

Shirts are available for all players who were involved in the squad on the day, including those of the goal-scorers, Xherdan Shaqiri and Peter Crouch.

All proceeds raised will go directly to the Royal British Legion - the United Kingdom's leading charity service which provides practical care, advice and support to serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans of all ages and their families.

Almost £8,000 was raised last season between shirts and pin badges and Stoke City's Head of Community Adrian Hurst is hoping to raise similar if not more this time around.

“We are proud to support the Royal British Legion poppy appeal and we are sure our fans will dig deep to get behind such a worthwhile cause again this year.”
