Pulis Confirms 25-Man Squad

TONY PULIS has submitted his revised 25-man playing squad for the remainder of the Barclays Premier League campaign . . . and it includes United States international Brek Shea, after he completed a £2.5m move to the Britannia Stadium on Thursday.

The City boss swooped for the highly rated 22-year-old winger on what again proved to be a hectic transfer deadline day, which also saw England international goalkeeper Jack Butland pen a long term deal with the Club from Birmingham City.

However, the 19-year-old Bristol born stopper isn't included in the latest squad, after agreeing to remain at St Andrews until the end of the campaign, to gain further football league experience.

Texas born Shea is one of two new inclusions in the squad, the other being Malian striker Mamady Sidibe, who was previously left out due to injury.

The pair fill two of the three voids left by the departed Rory Delap (Barnsley, loan), Matthew Upson (Brighton & Hove Albion, loan) and Maurice Edu (Bursaspor, loan).

The likes of Belgian starlet Florent Cuvelier and former Rangers youngster Jamie Ness are eligible to feature in the Premier League by virtue of their Under 21 status.

In all, 24 of the 25 spots have been taken.

The full Barclays Premier League playing squad is as follows:
