TONY PULIS today outlined Stoke City's needs as they prepared for their crucial Barclays Premier League encounter with Swansea City at the weekend . . . a change of fortune and their passionate supporters to be at their loudest for the game.
Pulis' side will be aiming to secure their first Premier League victory of the season when they face Michael Laudrup's men at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday after failing to get what they deserved out of the first five matches of the 2012-13 campaign.
Despite producing some promising performances in the toughest of circumstances, the Potters had to settle for draws in their opening four games before suffering their first defeat of the season when they went down to a late Ashley Cole goal on Saturday.
In looking ahead to the Swansea match, City's manager admitted: "We need a change of luck and we need our supporters to get behind us at the weekend.
"Swansea is now a big game for us, but every game at the Britannia Stadium is a big one. Whenever we have needed that little bit help from our fans in the past, they have never let us done, so we want to make sure we fill the stadium for this game."
He added: "Although the performances have been good so far, we haven't had that little bit of luck. But if we keep working hard, it will change for us."
City still have a good number of tickets remaining for the meeting with Swansea and these are currently on general sale.
They can be booked online at scfcdirect.com or purchased over the phone by contacting the Ticket Office hotline on 01782 367599.
Alternatively, City supporters can obtain their tickets in person at the Britannia Stadium Ticket Office or one of the Club Stores located in the Potteries Shopping Centre or the Roebuck Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
