Rory Delap Returns For Stoke City's Aston Villa Clash

RORY DELAP will be returning to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday as a guest commentator for the Club's game with Aston Villa.

The former Potters midfielder will be joining Nigel Johnson and Matt Sandoz in the press box with the trio's commentary being broadcast online via Stoke City Player and on BBC Radio Stoke.

The visit of the Villains will bring back plenty of memories of Stoke City's first ever Premier League home game, a match in which Rory's long throw in the last minute was headed home by Mamady Sidibe to clinch a 3-2 victory and send the crowd into delirium.

Delap enjoyed his first experience of commentating last season during the 1-1 draw with Norwich City at Carrow Road, whilst spending much of the rest of his time involved in the Academy set-up at Derby County.

Live match commentaries for every league and cup game, both at home and away, will again by broadcast on Stoke City Player along with extended highlights of matches, exclusive interviews and behind the scenes features.

Subscriptions are available from £37.99 for an annual pass, with monthly passes priced at just £4.49.
