Skipper Ryan Shawcross Gives Support To Stoke City Ladies

RYAN SHAWCROSS has given his support to Stoke City Ladies ahead of their first ever match at the Britannia Stadium.

The Stoke City captain met Ladies skipper Meg Bowyer at Clayton Wood ahead of Sunday's games, in a further demonstration of the developing links between the two set-ups.

He offered words of encouragement for the side and took a keen interest in their progress through the season.

Whilst Shawcross obviously won't be present for the game against Blackburn Rovers, supporters are invited to head to the home of Stoke City Football Club to cheer them on.

Sunday's game kicks off at 10.30am and is scheduled to finish before any of the coaches depart for the clash with West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.

Admission is £1 for adults and 50p for under 16s. Gates open at 9.45am.
