Staffs Senior Cup Draw

STOKE CITY will be gunning for their 15th Staffordshire Senior Cup crown when they kick off this season's competition against Norton United next week.

The Potters have been drawn to take on the North West Counties Premier League outfit at their stadium in Smallthorne next Wednesday evening (17th October).

Dave Kevan will take charge of the side which is likely to be predominantly made up of Under 21 players, although he does have the option of including first team players should Tony Pulis decide to make them available for the encounter.

Stoke boast an impressive record in the competition having won it on 14 occasions, the most recent being during the 1998/99 campaign.

The address for the Norton United Stadium is as follows:

Norton United Football Club
Community Drive

Ticket prices for the fixture will be announced in due course.
