Stoke City FC to travel to Germany in preparation for the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season


THE Potters have announced their pre-season fixtures in preparation for the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League campaign.


Mark Hughes' side will fly out to a training camp in Germany on Friday 18th July before returning back on Wednesday 30th July 2014.


City will be based on the Austrian/German border, west of Salzburg, and will play three matches against German opposition, with fixture and venue details to be announced at a later date on


The Potters will return home before playing away fixtures against Burton Albion and Blackburn Rovers in the first weekend of August.


A Stoke City XI will travel to the Pirelli Stadium to take on League Two Play-Off semi-finalists Burton on Saturday 2nd August 2014, kick-off 3pm.


Another Potters XI will take on Championship side Blackburn a day later at Ewood Park on Sunday 3rd August 2014, kick-off 3pm.


The Potters can also announce a home fixture against La Liga side Real Betis.


The Spanish outfit will arrive at the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday 6th August 2014 with a kick-off time yet to be confirmed.


City will then close their preparations for next season with an away tie against European opposition on Saturday 9th August 2014. Details will be confirmed at a later date on
