Stoke City German 2014 Tour Details Announced

STOKE CITY have today announced further details of the first team's pre-season tour of Germany which is due to take place next month ahead of the 2014/15 Premier League season.

The Potters squad will travel to Germany for a 12-day training camp on Friday 18th July and will be based in the district of Traunstein on the German/Austrian border.

During their stay in Germany, Mark Hughes' team will face three matches against VFL Borussia Monchengladbach, TSV 1860 Munchen and FC Schalke 04, all of which are open to the general public.

The squad are due to fly back to England on Wednesday 30th July for fixtures against Burton Albion, Blackburn Rovers and Real Betis, before returning to Germany to finish their preparations a week before the start of the season by facing SC Freiburg on Saturday 9th August at the Bundesliga outfit's home stadium.

Full details of the fixtures which the first-team squad will face whilst out in Germany can be seen below, as well as the friendly against SC Freiburg:

VFL BORUSSIA MÖNCHENGLADBACH - Sunday 20th July 2014 - FC Rottach-Egern, Rottach-Egern, Germany (16:00 kick-off)  
TSV 1860 MÜNCHEN - Saturday 26th July 2014 - Reit im Winkl training ground, Germany (17:00 kick-off)
FC SCHALKE 04 - Tuesday 29th July 2014 - Kufstein Arena, Kufstein, Austria (19.00 kick-off)
SC FREIBURG - Saturday 9th August 2014 - Mage Solar Stadium, Freiburg, Germany (17:30 kick-off)
