Stoke City Ladies To Play At Britannia Stadium

STOKE CITY LADIES will take to the hallowed turf of the Britannia Stadium for the very first time this weekend - and you're invited to cheer them on!

The Potters face Blackburn Rovers in the penultimate game of the FA Women's Premier League (North) this Sunday (11th May).

Kick off is at 10.30am on the morning of the first team's game at West Bromwich Albion and is scheduled to finish before any of the coaches depart for the Hawthorns.

Last season's treble winners have adjusted well to life at a higher level following promotion from the Midland Womens Combination League last summer.

They're on course for a top half finish this year, whilst they've already retained the Staffordshire FA County Cup trophy for a sixth year in succession.

A thrilling 4-4 draw with Derby County was witnessed last time out and they'll be confident of recording a tenth win of the season against struggling Blackburn.

All Stoke City supporters are encouraged to lend their support to the Ladies, with admission on the day priced at £1 for adults and 50p for under 16s. Gates open at 9.45am.
