Stoke City Remembers...

STOKE CITY will remember supporters and former players who have passed away during 2013 at the New Year's Day game against Everton.

The Club have announced plans to celebrate the lives of those who are sadly no longer with us in a special event which will take place before the game.

The event will have added poignancy following the deaths earlier this year of ex-City midfielder Paul Ware at the age of 42 and Mabel Smith, who was one of the Club's longest serving supporters.

Fans can pay respects to loved ones and friends by submitting photographs to feature on the big screen while names will be listed in the Matchday Magazine #pottersmag.

Those who are remembered on this occasion will appear on the big screen from 2.00pm onwards prior to kick-off.

Supporters wishing to include someone in this remembrance event should send a photograph with name and years (i.e 1936-2013) to

The deadline for inclusion in the matchday magazine is midday on Friday 20th December. Entries submitted after that time will only be shown on the big screen on matchday.
