TWO SETS of Stoke City fans will get the chance to choose their representative on the Supporters Council in a forthcoming election.
Nominations have been received for two categories within the Specialist Seats on the democratically-elected body who will now stand in a poll - those for the upper tier of the Q-railing Stand and the Disabled Supporters.
Season Ticket holders within those two particular sections of the supporter base will be eligible to cast a vote over the next three weeks.
There are three candidates for the Q-railing Upper:
*Kevin Richardson - a new Season Ticket holder for the 2013-14 season
*Richard Lowe - who served on the Supporters Council in a General Seat for 12 months
*Paul Thompson - a Season Ticket holder for more than 40 years
The two nominations to represent the Disabled Supporters are:
*Mark Willey - the current Disabled Supporters' representative on the Supporters Council
*Marie Mansell - a permanent wheelchair user who is a qualified teacher and disabled advisor
More information about those standing for the Specialist Seats and how you can place your votes between now and midday on Friday 5th July is available by clicking HERE
The poll for the two seats completes the election process to fill places on the Supporters Council and thus strengthen a body which has had a considerable impact since its formation last year.
The Supporters Council provides fans with a platform on which they can raise issues with senior representatives of the Club at regular meetings.
