Teams In Action This Weekend

WHILST THE first team aren't in action this weekend because of the international break, there are still Stoke City teams that are taking to the field.

The Under-18s host Blackburn Rovers at Clayton Wood on Saturday morning (kick off 11.00am) as they look to register their third win of the season.

John Perkin's side recorded a 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion in August and a 4-1 win against Newcastle United last month, but have suffered defeats on the road at Aston Villa and Liverpool in their last two matches.

Entrance is free for any supporters who wish to cheer them and help to change their fortunes around.

Then on Sunday, Stoke City Ladies take part in the Staffordshire FA County Cup.

Both the first team and reserves reached the final last season, the second time in which they achieved the feat, with the Potters now beginning their journey to retain the trophy for the sixth season in a row.

And whilst the first team have already secured a place in the next round after Lichfield Diamonds conceded the tie, the reserves will be looking to do the same when they come up against Audley in Bignall End (kick off 2.00pm).
