MARC Wilson, Glenn Whelan and Jonathan Walters have today all been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for a set of four friendlies.
The trio have made the cut to be included in Martin O'Neill's 32-man pool as they embark on a series of games against Turkey, Italy, Costa Rica and Portugal.
Ireland welcome Turkey to the Aviva Stadium before making the relatively short trip to London where they face Italy at Fulham's Craven Cottage.
The Irish then travel to the United States of America where they are set to come up against World Cup finalists Costa Rica in Philadelphia and then Portugal in New Jersey.
The news follows the announcement that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nigeria have named Asmir Begovic and Peter Odemwingie respectively in their provisional World Cup squads.
Meanwhile, one City player certain to play at this summer's tournament is Wilson Palacios after the Honduran Football Association selected the midfielder in their final 23-man squad.
