Two Changes To The Side

MARK HUGHES made two changes to his starting eleven for Saturday's Barclays Premier League encounter against reigning champions Manchester United.

Republic of Ireland international Jonathan Walters and Marko Arnautovic were reinstated to the side at the expense of Oussama Assaidi and the suspended Steven Nzonzi.

The rest of the side was as you were with Asmir Begovic ushering a back four that comprised of Geoff Cameron, skipper Ryan Shawcross, Marc Wilson and Erik Pieters.

The midfield featured Austrian ace Arnautovic, Glenn Whelan, Charlie Adam and home debutant Peter Odemwingie.

Peter Crouch spearheaded the side with Walters lining up just behind the frontman.

Stoke City: Begovic; Cameron, Shawcross (c), Wilson, Pieters; Odemwingie, Whelan, Arnautovic, Adam, Walters; Crouch. Subs: Sorensen, Muniesa, Shotton, Palacios, Ireland, Assaidi, Guidetti.
