STOKE CITY have been notified that officials at Swansea City remain hopeful that tomorrow's Barclays Premier League match will go ahead as scheduled.

The South Wales club have reported that the Liberty Stadium pitch is fine and that the surrounding areas are being cleared of any snow that has fallen today.

There are also no issues with the main roads in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.

City will be keeping in regular touch with Swansea for further updates throughout the day, so please keep in contact with the website for any further news.

The Club are anxious to avoid people making an unnecessary journey to South Wales in the adverse conditions if the game were to be postponed and have therefore requested that any decision be made at the early possible opportunity should that be the case.
