Wilkinson Back

TONY PULIS made one change to his starting line-up for Stoke City's Barclays Premier League clash with Norwich at the Britannia Stadium.

Defender Andy Wilkinson returned to the defence in place of Republic of Ireland international Marc Wilson, who had suffered a recurrence of a hamstring injury in the victory over Queens Park Rangers a week earlier.

Winger Matthew Etherington was declared fit and returned to the bench after a two-match lay-off with a back problem.

Norwich were without central defender Michael Turner, who was ruled out with a groin problem he sustained in the Reading match.

City: Begovic, Shotton, Shawcross, Huth, Wilkinson, Jerome, Whelan, Nzonzi, Adam, Walters, Crouch. Subs: Sorensen, Cameron, Jones, Owen, Whitehead, Kightly, Etherington.

Norwich: Bunn, Martin, Bassong, Bennett R, Whittaker, Snodgrass, Howson, Johnson, Tettey, Kamara, Holt. Subs: Camp, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Bennett E, Garrido, Becchio, Barnett.
