ANTICIPATION is building ahead of the World's Ultimate Strongest Team event at the Britannia Stadium tomorrow.

Over 3,500 tickets have already been sold (£20 for adults, £10 for children) and there's still time to book yours for what is sure to be a fantastic day.

The event, which will be a huge treat for strongman fans across the country, sees the sport's biggest names appear on one show in the UK for the very first time.

Stoke-on-Trent's Eddie Hall and Terry Hollands of Dartmouth will join forces in Team Saxon to take on a Team America including 6' 8", 29 stone Brian Shaw, the 2011 and 2013 World's Strongest Man, who makes a rare appearance on UK soil and Mike Burke Jr, the two-time America's Strongest Man (6' 6", 26 stone).

Strongman legend Geoff Capes will also be in attendance as a special guest referee!

Competitions at the event are set to include the Two-Man Deadlift, Two-Man Log Lift, Conan's Wheel, Atlas Stones and a brand new event - Two-on-Two Wrestling!

The World's biggest strongman Thor Bjornsson, who towers over the rest of the field at 6' 9" and also stars in the hit television series Game of Thrones, will also be competing.

Other strongman stars include the 3 time World's Strongest Man (2009, 2010, 2012) and one of the greatest of all time Zydrunas Savickas (Lithuania) and Poland's Krzysztof Radzikowski, the power lifting specialist and 2012 WSF World Strongman Champion.

The World's Ultimate Strongest Team event takes place at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday 31st May with doors opening at 11.00am for a 1.00pm start. Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £10 for children and are available to purchase by clicking HERE.
