Academy Keeper's Charity Cause

Posted on: Mon 22 Sep 2008

Academy goalkeeper Brodie Holland raised over £300 for charity recently after shedding his locks in honour of his friend Thomas Knight.

Thomas was involved in a fatal road accident back in March whereby his life was attempted to be saved by the air ambulance en-route to the Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Brodie wanted to do something in memory of his friend and also raise money for the air ambulance.

He agreed to have his hair cut by Tom's mum and hairdresser Lesley Bougourd, with the gesture making his family and Club very proud of him.

The Chasetown youngster was signed by City's Academy in February and plays in goal for the Under 11's.
