Academy Pick Up A Point

Posted on: Mon 22 Sep 2008

City's Academy side continued their recent good form by picking up a point away at Newcastle United on Saturday.

Midfielder Nathaniel Wedderburn had opened the scoring on the hour when he burst through the defence to slot past keeper Jak Alnwick.

It looked as though all three points would be City's until Michael McCrudden netted an injury time goal to deny Adrian Pennock his third consecutive win.
