West Bromwich Albion 1 Stoke City 0

City's Academy side went down by a goal to nil at the weekend in a tight game with West Bromwich Albion.

Nigerian-born striker Lateef Elford-Alliyu scored the only goal of the game on the hour-mark to give the Baggies all three points.

The Potters now face Everton at home at the weekend in their seventh Premier Academy League Group C game of the season.

WEST BROM (4-3-3): Allsop, Pike, Downing, Clarke, Saied; Mantom, Samuels, Knight; Lake-Gaskin, Sawyers, Elford-Alliyu. Subs (Not Used): Wood, Lovell, Malcolm, Brown.
