Media Accreditation 2009/10
Stoke City Football Club aims to provide an efficient and effective service to visiting members of the media.
PRE-MATCH PRESS CONFERENCES
The Club usually hold a pre-match press conference prior to every game.
For a Saturday game, they are normally held at the Michelin Sports Ground's Bar, adjacent to the Clayton Wood Training Ground, on a Thursday morning.
Manager Tony Pulis and a first team player normally attend, with details of the venue, time, and attendees being sent out via e-mail to members of our media database before the event.

MATCHDAY ACCREDITATION
Applications for press, media and photography accreditation should be made at least 48 hours prior to the match via the Premier League's new i-PBS system.
When you or your organisation were sent confirmation of your Football DataCo license number you should also have been sent further details as to how to register for i-PBS.
If your organisation does not use i-PBS, then please apply via e-mail to media@stokecityfc.com.
The press, media and photographers should note that their applications will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by a valid Premier League Licence Number.
The Britannia Stadium has over 130 press seats, a television gantry situated at the top of the West Stand Upper Tier and Media Suite available before, during and after games.
Wireless internet access is available in both the Media Suite and Press Box throughout a matchday.
A limited number of ISDN lines are available and any requests for one should be made with the initial accreditation request.
The Club operate a strict player's tunnel policy and only people contractually entitled to enter the tunnel will be allowed to do so.
Any other organisations can put forward a request for the Mixed Zone, situated trackside near the entrance to the tunnel.
One car park pass for the "Trent Car Park" is automatically issued with your accreditation but if you require more, please include your request in your initial accreditation submission.PRE-MATCH
To pick up your car park pass prior to a game, please report to the steward at the lay-by opposite Greens Fitness Centre and the Bristol Street Ford garage. The lay-by is also opposite the SEAT Stand.
You will be then issued a Trent Car Park pass, which is signposted. The Trent Car Park is only a short walk from the stadium.
Press, Media & Photographers should report to the Media Reception, to the right of the West Stand main entrance by turnstile 7.
You will need to sign in as you enter. You will then be given a Matchday Magazine. Stat Packs are available in the Media Suite.
The Press Box is situated on Level 3 of the West Stand where Chief Media Steward Les Scarrett and IT Technician James Mason are on hand to help out with any requests.
Photographers also have their own room and need to pick up a numbered bib at this point to wear trackside.
Any photographer not returning the bib will be invoiced £50 by the Premier League.
Team sheets are made available in both the Media Suite and the Press Box prior to kick-off.
REFRESHMENTS
The Media Suite has a selection of hot food and drinks available from 90 minutes prior to kick-off.
Sandwiches and soup is also available at half-time on a first come first served basis.
POST-MATCH
Both Tony Pulis and the visiting manager will be brought to the Media Suite after the game.
Members of the media who have a Mixed Zone pass will also have the opportunity to get interviews with players.
The visiting club's press officer is granted access to all areas, and any members of the media wishing to speak to a visiting player should speak to the visiting club's media representatives directly.
The Media Suite and Photographers' Room will both close 90 MINUTES after the final whistle.
