How To Get Here, Access & Parking

BY CAR

North/South/West
Leave the M6 at Junction 15. Take the A500 to Stoke-on-Trent then the A50 to Derby/Uttoxeter (the Britannia Stadium is signposted and visible on the sky-line to the right). Once on the A50 take the first exit and head up the bank towards the traffic lights. Turn right at the traffic lights and head over the fly-over. Take a right at the first roundabout, a left at the second and a right at the third to reach the stadium.

East
Take the A50 all the way to Stoke-on-Trent. Take the last turn off on the A50 with the stadium to the left. Go straight on at the first roundabout and right at the second to reach the stadium.

BY RAIL

The nearest railway station is Stoke-on-Trent. The station is on the main line from Manchester to London and also has major links to Birmingham, Crewe and Derby.

Supporters arriving by train on matchday can take a two-minute walk to Glebe Street in Stoke where buses run to the stadium at regular intervals. Turn right out of the station and take the next right to go under the bridge. Follow the road to the end and turn left, down a bank and into Glebe Street. Buses depart on the left hand side by the church.

BY BUS

There are a number of bus services that run through Trentham Lakes and past the Britannia Stadium all week long.

Wardles Transport run the 'Plumline' and '500' services while bakerbus operate the '350' service. Visit www.stokebus.info for more information.

On a matchday, there are an increased level of buses that travel to and from the stadium.

From Hanley Bus Station, take the number 23 bus to Glebe Street where the shuttle bus service to the stadium departs.

The service continues between Glebe Street and the Britannia Stadium at 15 minute intervals up until 15 minutes before kick-off. Return buses depart immediately after the match from bus terminals behind the Sentinel Stand (East). Normal fares apply.

BY FOOT

Pedestrians can walk to the Britannia Stadium on a matchday from Stoke town using existing footpaths along the bridge over the A500 which leads to the Incinerator access road to link up with the footway/cycleway (and the bridge over the canal and railway line) to the stadium.

Pedestrians can also link up with the footway from the towpath which runs along the Trent and Mersey canal. Supporters can walk from Heron Cross (Grove Road) and Hollybush (Highfield Drive) to the stadium, along a footway/cycleway.

There is NO PEDESTRIAN ACCESS along the busy A500 or A50 roads. Finally, pedestrians can walk to the stadium along Stanley Matthews Way running up from Trentham Road (A5035).

MATCHDAY ACCESS & PARKING

On matchdays, access to the Britannia Stadium is strictly limited to vehicles with parking permits for car parks NORTH, WEST 1 and WEST 2 (Directors Box guests, private box holders, Vice Presidents Club members, sponsors, Tony Waddington Suite guests, players, officials etc), visiting coaches and supporters who have been allocated a disabled parking space outside the ground (wheelchair season/matchday ticket holders).

Supporters who are allowed access from the A50 should follow signs which indicate coach and disabled parking.

Car parks will open from 11.00am for an afternoon match and from 4.00pm for a night match.

Access to the car parks is available from the A50 and the junction on Trentham Road (A5035).

NON-MATCHDAY PARKING

Parking is available at the stadium on non-matchdays directly outside the Club's Superstore, Ticket Office and administration offices on car parks WEST 1 and WEST 2, with access from the A50 and Trentham Road (A5035).
