Posted on: Fri 13 Jan 2012

Stoke City's Kickz project works in partnership with the Premier League, Staffordshire Police and Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

It uses the development of young people's potential to create safer, stronger and more respectful communities.

Tri-weekly sessions of football, plus a variety of activities and workshops, have been in place at Bentilee since 2010, during which time reports of anti-social behaviour in the area have lowered.

Sessions are all free and available to anyone aged 14-18.

They take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 6.00pm-9.00pm at Bentilee Pavilion.Power League Stoke hosts Kickz on Fridays 6.00pm-8.00pm.

In 2011, Kickz celebrated its five-year anniversary. For more information on Kickz and its nationwide success click here
