City's Ladies' team last night retained the Staffordshire FA's County Cup following a 3-2 victory over Bourne United at Meir KA.

The Potters stormed into a 3-0 half-time lead after goals by Kate Asher, Chantelle Gallagher and Jade Beech.

Bourne fought back in the second period but City held out to record their fifth victory over them this season and in turn retain the trophy.
