STOKE CITY Ladies FC will be hosting their annual 'Open-Trial' training evening on Thursday 1st July 2010 from 7pm to 9pm inside the Stoke City Academy Dome.
All female football players are welcome to attend from the ages of 16 and above, irrelevant of playing experience.
Stoke City Ladies FC operate with two teams in our 'senior' set-up. The Ladies play their fixtures in the Midland Regional Combination League (tier 3 of the Ladies structure) & the Midland Regional Combination Reserve League. Both teams train together on a Thursday evening in the Stoke City Academy Dome and play their fixtures on a Sunday afternoon.
The Stoke City Academy Dome is an indoor facility with a 3G-astro surface. It is located adjacent to Britannia Stadium (between The Power League Soccer Centre & Hem Heath Cricket Club). All players are asked to wear trainers or moulded studded boots. NO BLADES OF ANY KIND OR METAL STUDDED BOOTS ARE ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Flat trainers are the better option to take part in. Players are also encouraged to bring suitable fluids for them to consume throughout the session as none will be provided and must also remember to bring their shin-pad's. No changing rooms will be available on the evening so player's should attend dressed accordingly upon arrival.
