THE Club's First Team Fitness and Physio Coordinator, Paul joined Tony Pulis' backroom staff in the summer of 2010 from Plymouth Argyle.

'Maxi', as he is predominantly known within the Potters dressing room, worked alongside Pulis at Home Park during the 2005/06 campaign and he had no hesitation in reacquainting himself with the Welshman twelve months ago.

A former player, Paul featured under current Assistant Manager Dave Kemp at both Plymouth and Slough before retiring prematurely at the age of 22 with a troublesome knee injury.

He spent 10 years serving on the south coast as Plymouth's Head Physiotherapist, but a move to the Premier League with the Potters proved too much of an incentive to turn down.
