MINUTE-TO-MINUTE

5.00pm: Welcome to stokecityfc.com for live minute-to-minute coverage of this evening's game.

5.01pm: So, Tony Pulis has done it - named Tuncay, Fuller, Sidibe and Etherington in the starting line-up. Diao and Whelan are the two in the centre of midfield while the back five remain the same. Simonsen is back on the bench with Begovice cup-tied whilst there's also a place for Dave Kitson. Dean Whitehead misses out completely - we'll try and get news of why later tonight.

5.02pm: Skipper Abdoulaye Faye is among those warming up on the pitch here at the City of Manchester Stadium. Will he back and ready to play for the second game on Tuesday night? Incidentally Whitehead is also out there, so perhaps he's being rested for that game.

5.08pm: Live match commentary is underway on Stoke City Player with former midfielder Dave Brammer - who played the last time the Potters reached the Fifth Round - joining Nigel Johnson and John Acres. Get logged on to Stoke City Player now.

5.13pm: The two teams walk out onto the pitch - each accompanied by eleven mascots - kick off is almost upon us. C'mon Stoke!

5.16pm: Despite the PA cranked up to the max, you can still hear the 3,000+ Stokies singing their hearts out with a rendition of Delilah.

Kick Off5.17pm: Glenn Whelan and Ricardo Fuller get the first half underway.

2 mins: Tuncay's actually started on the left hand side with Etherington on the right. The positioning of the back four is also slightly different to what was expected as Pulis has gone for the one that was used for parts of the game at Wigan. Huth is right back, Wilkinson is left back and Higginbotham is in the middle with Shawcross.

6 mins: Almost a carbon copy of the Wigan goal in the week but Etherington's cross from the right is just too high for Tuncay at the back post. It was lovely build-up play from Etherington, Sidibe and Fuller.

8 mins: Sorensen claims Petrov's low cross from the left well and beats Wright-Phillips to the ball.

9 mins: Corner to Stoke as Toure is forced to put Etherington's through ball behind as Fuller was ready to pounce.

9 mins: Lescott beats Shawcross to the ball in the air but it falls to Tuncay. He volleys at goal but it hits Fuller and bounces away.

Goal11 mins - GOAL: 1-0 to the home side and it's Shaun Wright-Phillips who breaks the deadlock. The linesman's flag stays down and he runs free from Ryan Shawcross. He dinks it over the oncoming Thomas Sorensen and despite Shawcross' best efforts Wright-Phillips puts it in the back of the net.

12 mins: Etherington goes down in pain near the corner flag as he stretches to stop Wayne Bridge's cross. He looks like he's jarred his knee. Medics go round to attend to him while Liam Lawrence gets ready to come on. Not good news at all for the Potters.

13 mins: Fuller lashes a shot over the bar after a poor clearance from Bridge.

Substitution13 mins: Lawrence comes on for Etherington. England manager Fabio Capello, who's here in the crowd today, won't have much chance to check him out now.

16 mins: Petrov's free kick goes wide of the mark.

20 mins: Replays are shown of Wright-Phillips' goal earlier. Lady Luck was definitely on their side for that one.

25 mins: The games settled down quite a bit since the goal, and then Etherington's injury. Stoke have looked good on the ball and have played some decent stuff. It's just a matter of carving out some more chances now.

29 mins: Fuller heads a dangerous inswinging Lawrence free kick just over the bar after he was tripped out on the left flank.

30 mins: Lawrence's volley is blocked by Bridge after the winger had gotten on the end of Tuncay's cross. So unlucky, the full back knew nothing of that. Liam has his head in his hands full of disappointment.

31 mins: Sidibe now needs treatment as Huth collides with him in the six yard box as they attempt to head home the corner. Kitson and Beattie are out to warm up.

32 mins: Sidibe is off the field as Lawrence whips in the corner. A Man City head gets on it though to clear it away.

37 mins: The Potters are continuing to play the football here and have a good share of possession. It's mainly been the home side attacking on the counter.

Yellow Card38 mins: Wilkinson booked the bringing down Wright-Phillips. The home crowd cry for a penalty but replays show it's definitely a free kick, just outside the box.

39 mins: Petrov wastes the free kick with a poor shot that goes high and wide.

40 mins: Lawrence is inches away from prodding in Sidibe's flick on but Given gets his hands to it instead.

42 mins: Oh no! Lawrence now goes down injured, he looks like he's twisted his knee as well! It was just after he won a throw in with Bridge and Petrov pressing.

43 mins: Oooo so close there! Higginbotham's great long range strike dips, curves and bends agonisingly wide of the post with Shay Given beaten.

45 mins: Lawrence is back on the pitch now, hopefully he can continue after the break as well.

45 mins: A minimum of four minutes added time is indicated by the fourth official.

46 mins: Nope, Liam cannot continue, he's gone down off the pitch on the right hand side grimacing his face.

Substitution46 mins: Rory Delap comes on in his place. How unlucky have we been today?

47 mins: Zabaleta brings down Fuller on the left flank but escapes a booking. Free kick to Stoke.

48 mins: Tuncay whips in the free kick and Huth is close to getting his foot on it, but Given gathers.

49 mins: Excellent chasing down by Fuller on Toure earns Stoke a corner kick. Tuncay takes it early whilst Toure is still arguing but his cross is put out for a throw in.

50 mins: Rory Delap hurls in a throw to the near post but Shawcross just misses out on connecting.

50 mins: Mark Clattenburg blows the half-time whistle and Stoke go in at the break 1-0 down. How we've not gotten something out of the game so far!

HALF-TIME. MANCHESTER CITY 1 STOKE CITY 0.

18.23pm: The two teams are making their ways back out onto the pitch following the half-time team talks, and it looks as though never side has made a change at the break.

Kick Off12.24pm: Ireland and Wright-Phillips begin the second half.

53 mins Sorensen comes out well to claim Ireland's inswinging free kick.

Substitution55 mins: Wilkinson comes off for Danny Collins. He got earlier on his ankle by Wright-Phillips and hasnt been right since. All three subs have been used for injuries now, what a shame.

56 mins: A free kick awarded against Fuller as he inadvertantly trips Zabaleta whilst attempting to reach Sidibe's flick on.

Goal56 mins - GOAL: YESSS!! We're level! Rory Delap's long throw flies into the box and Fuller rises to head home. 1-1 - get in!

58 mins: The sheer jubilation in the Stoke end was great too see there, it was a goal that we've thoroughly deserved. Cue another rendition of Delilah.

Substitution62 mins: Another injury - this time for Mancester City, as Martin Petrov limps off to be replaced by Roque Santa Cruz.

63 mins Sidibe is now down injured as well after hurting his knee landing following an aerial battle with Toure! Can our luck get any worse? He's back on his feet and will continue though.

65 mins: Another Delap throw in and the hosts have all eleven men back to try and thwart another goal. They do this time,

67 mins: Fuller is the next one to pick up a knock after banging heads with Toure.

71 mins: Delap's long throw causes more panic and Whelan's effort from the edge of the box is blocked by a sky blue shirt.

Substitution72 mins: Ireland comes off for Patrick Vieira.

74 mins: Tuncay catches everyone out when he cuts back a right wing free kick to Whelan on the edge of the area. He unleashes a powerful shot at goal that compatriot Given gathers at the second attempt.

77 mins: Whelan tries an audacious lob over Given but it goes over the bar.

79 mins: Great save by Sorensen to deny Barry. The Big Dane tipped his header over the bar after Wright-Phillips had crossed from the right.

81 mins: No foul given as Vieira manhandles Delap to win the ball. Man City counter and Wright-Phillips goes on to hit the side netting. Tony Pulis is livid.

83 mins: Fuller does well to releave the defence of its duties when picks up the ball and takes on three players before eventually being brought down by De Jong.

88 mins: Free kick to Stoke after Vieira is this time penalised for tugging Diao. Tuncay knocks the free kick into the box for Sidibe but his header goes wide.

90 mins: The fourth official indicates a minimum of four minutes added time.

92 mins: Hearts in mouths as Santa Cruz latches onto Vieira's ball over the top of the defence. He turns and shoots passed Sorensen but Shawcross blocks the ball from going in.

94 mins; Fuller again does well to keep the ball before playing it to Whelan. He puts Tuncay through who shoots just wide of Given's left post.

94 mins: The home support are leaving in their droves now as all the Stokies are up on their feet.

94 mins: And there goes the full-time whistle, and Stoke have a replay! Such a hard working performance deserved it. Post-match reaction to follow...

FULL-TIME. MANCHESTER CITY 1 STOKE CITY 1.
