7.36pm: Dean Whitehead lines up at right back this evening with the absenses of Andy Wilkinson, Abdoulaye Faye and Danny Higginbotham. Liam Lawrence returns to midfield in place of Tuncay while Saturday's match winner Salif Diao takes the spare spot in the centre of the park. Amdy Faye and Andrew Davies are surprises amongst the substitutes.
7.37pm: It looks as though the visitors have gone for a five man midfield tonight with Craig Bellamy returning to the line up on the left flank. There's also been a couple of changes in the defence and Kolo Toure isn't involved at all. Following the retrospective punishment dished out to Patrick Vieira for his x-rated challenge on Glenn Whelan last week, he also misses out.
7.42pm: The two teams head out onto the pitch here at the Britannia Stadium. A visit to Chelsea in the Quarter Finals on Saturday week is up for grabs.
7.43pm: Man City have changed their colours for tonight's game, with their sky blue shirts and white shorts being preferred to the all black kit that they donned here last week.
7.46pm: Craig Bellamy and Stephen Ireland get the game underway for the visitors.
5 mins: A tense opening few minutes has seen the both teams scrap it out in the centre of the pitch before Man City earn themselves the first corner kick of the evening. It comes to nothing though.
7 mins: Sorensen does excellently well to claw Adebayor's long range shot around the post. He had plenty of time to get a shot in then.
10 mins: Kompany heads Bellamy's corner wide of the post. Barry tried to divert it goalwards but it was too high for him.
12 mins: Fuller is bundled over by Richards deep down on the left flank. He couldn't cope with the Jamaican's pace and power then. Lawrence's swirling kick to the near post is claimed by Given.
16 mins: Whitehead does just enough to cut out Ireland's through ball to Gareth Barry. Another corner to Man City, and another one that comes to nothing.
18 mins: Sidibe is the first player going into Steve Bennett's book tonight after the referee awards two fouls against him in 30 seconds.
19 mins: Ironic cheers from the home crowd as Bennett this time awards one in Mama's favour.
20 mins Stoke survive a Manchester City counter-attack after Adebayor turns Whitehead on the halfway line. Diao got back well to close the angle but Bellamy was played in on the left side. He picked up the ball and shot at goal but Sorensen came out quickly to close down the angle and thwart the strike. Good goalkeeping.
22 mins: The first throw in for Rory Delap tonight and with the defence backing up in the box he instead throws it short for Whitehead. His high cross into the box is headed back across the face of goal but it is eventually booted away.
24 mins: Fuller is the next to be booked after Shay Given complains when the striker actually tries to close his backpass down. Is that now allowed?
28 mins: Whitehead's grafting by the corner flag earns Stoke a corner on the right hand side. Kompany gets his head to it and out it goes for a throw.
33 mins: Kompany takes two opportunities to bunt the ball out for a throw in. If the first slice in the air didn't suffice the second slide made up for it.
34 mins: Two more Delap throws cause problems, with the first whisking over the jumping heads in the six yard box.
35 mins: The ball drops to Shawcross in the area and he connects with a powerful left footed volley. Richards is on hand to block well.
36 mins: Shawcross does well to cut out another breakaway by the visitors. It's certainly heating up as the game goes on.
37 mins: Delap's header at the back post is saved by Given. That was a decent cross from Whitehead. Rory landed awkwardly though and requires treatment. He had both Richards and Kompany vying for the ball with him there.
45 mins: Fuller volleys Sidibe's flick on over the bar. The action has died down in the last few minutes, it looks like it'll be goalless going into the break.
45 mins: A minimum of three minutes of added time is indicated by the fourth official.
48 mins: Steve Bennett blows the whistle on the first half.

8.51pm: Glenn Whelan and Ricardo Fuller get the second half started. No subs have been made by either side.
47 mins: Lawrence hasles Bridge well down the right and wins a throw in. Delap launches the ball in but its cleared away.
49 mins: Richards booked for taking out Lawrence on the left as the Potters were getting forward and pushing for a goal.
50 mins: The City faithful are giving their vocal backing to the team as they look to beat Given for the third fixture running.
52 mins: Neat play down the left sees Fuller dummy Lawrence's through ball for Collins. He tees his up into the box for Sidibe but Lescott is there first to head away. C'mon Stoke.
55 mins: Tuncay comes on for Salif Diao as Tony Pulis goes in search of a winner.
57 mins: Barry's poor inswinging free kick is headed away at the near post by Whitehead.
58 mins: Tonight's attendance is given out as 21,813.
60 mins: Lawrence whips a dangerous ball into the area but Sidibe is crowded out again. The Potters are on top here at the minute.
61 mins: Shaun Wright-Phillips comes on for Stephen Ireland as Mancini makes his first change of the night.
64 mins: Shawcross gets his head to Zabaleta's cross into the box but clears it only to Bellamy. He volleys the ball at goal but Whitehead is there to deflect it wide.
65 mins: Fuller bursts free down the right on the counter-attack but is eventually tackled by Richards as he waits for support to catch him up.
67 mins: Barry connects to Wright-Phillips right wing cross but somehow puts it over from three yards out. It would have been a sucker punch for Stoke.
72 mins: Liam Lawrence is replaced by Danny Pugh. Tuncay will move over to wide right.
73 mins: Pugh immediately makes an impact and forces a corner after Lescott blocks his shot, unaware of whether it was goalbound.
74 mins: David Kitson comes on for Sidibe as Pulis makes his final change.
79 mins - GOAL: City are ahead and it's Kitson with the goal!! Great football in the build up as well. Kits played a give and go with Tuncay before rattling the ball home. What a story.
81 mins - GOAL: The visitors hit back straight away to bring the scores level. It was Bellamy with a clinical finish past Sorensen after Adebayor's knock down.
82 mins - RED CARD: Adebayor is shown a straight red card after an altercation with Shawcross. What a frantic few minutes!
83 mins: Bellamy goes into the book as well for arguing. That makes a change.
84 mins: Shawcross heads Delap's long throw wide. Well wide, actually. A chance to catch our breath though after a thunderous period of play.
85 mins: Shawcross now shown a yellow card for a late challenge on Bellamy on the left touchline.
86 mins: Laughable claims for handball by the visitors as Huth blocks Wright-Phillips' shot with his chest.
88 mins: It's go for broke for Mancini now as he brings on Santa Cruz for Wayne Bridge.
90 mins: Five additional minutes says the fourth official.
91 mins: Fuller holds off three defenders to win another corner. Whelan swings the ball in and Shawcross rises to meet it but the ball goes just wide of the post with the keeper beaten. So close!
93 mins: Huth is booked for a challenge from behind on the halfway line on Santa Cruz.
94 mins: Bellamy claims for a foul in the box after being unable to reach the ball because of Huth. The referee isn't having any of it.
94 mins: Kitson is caught on the head by Kompany's high boot but the referee says carry on again.
95 mins: Fuller turns, swivels and shoots just wide of the post after connecting to Kitson's knock down. That would have been a great finish.

9.46pm: The two team talks are over and the players get back ready prepared for another half hour of action.
9.47pm: Whelan and Fuller get the first half of extra time started.
92 mins: Bellamy gets past Whelan and Whitehead on the left flank and shoots towards the back post but Shawcross blocks for a corner.
94 mins: It's carnage in the Man City penalty area as the ball pinballs from player to player. Shots are blocked and deflected before the visitors get it away.
95 mins - GOAL: Manchester City are undone again by the long throw, they just can't deal with it! Delap hurls it in from the left and Shawcross rises, beating Given once again like last week, to head home. It's given this time, and it's now 2-1 to the Potters!
99 mins - GOAL: 3-1 to the Potters now, that definitely gives us a breathing space. Whelan does so well to win two 50-50 tackles and bomb forward down the pitch. He feeds in Tuncay, who cuts it beyond the defender and then buries a left footed shot into the back of the net.
102 mins: "There's only one City" is ironicly sang back to the visitors after their arrogant chant earlier.
105 mins: One further minute of added time is given as Man City win a corner. It's well cleared by the Potters.

10.04pm: Bellamy and Santa Cruz get the last fifteen minutes started. Stoke aren't there yet and will have to concentrate to get through, there's still plenty of quality in Mancini's side that can produce something given the chance.
107 mins: Barry comes off for Sylvinho who'll look down to attack down the left hand side.
110 mins: Richards heads well wide after making it onto the end of Kompany's ball forward.
111 mins: Wright-Phillips dinks and weaves down the right and shoots low but Sorensen saves well.
113 mins: Santa Cruz is threaded though one-on-one on goal but Sorensen makes another decent stop.
115 mins Kitson does well to turn Sylvinho and shoot at goal. Richard makes the block and its a corner to Stoke.
117 mins; Bellamy lashes a free kick yards over the cross bar, surely that is game, set and match now.
119 mins: Sorensen punches Sylvinho's deep free kick into the box away to safety.
119 mins: Pugh is shown the yellow card for pulling Wright-Phillips' shirt.
120 mins: One more additional minute is shown by the fourth official.
120 mins: A final corner kick for Stoke with Fuller and Pugh running down the clock in the corner.
