This weekend saw our very own Pottermus claim victory in the annual mascot challenge 'Football Furlong Race Day'.

The event hosted at Haydock Park saw twelve mascots from clubs the length and breadth of the country competing against each other in a straight race and penalty shoot - out.

Pottermus sprinted to a comfortable victory over all the others with Hartlepool's Angus the Monkey finishing second.

In another success story Pottermiss did it for the girls finishing third.

The top three all received a bottle of champagne for their efforts, which they enjoyed on their long trips back!
