Stoke City Open Day

Posted on: Tue 28 Sep 2010

The Britannia Stadium is open for visitors on Sunday August 5th 11am until 2pm for the 'Stoke City Open Day'.

The players will be training on the pitch and our regular man on the microphone Steve Buxton will be conducting a question and answer session with one of the first team coaches to answer all your questions about the players training regime.

There will be a 6 a - side tournament on the pitch with four teams taking part. One team of ex-City stars including Ronnie Sinclair and Carl Beeston, two teams from the Oatcake and a team of competition winners from the Sentinel. The tournament is to raise money for the John Ritchie Appeal.

Members of the first team squad will be signing autographs in the Greenhoff Suite and the Internationals Lounge as well as taking part in a session conducted by Terry Conroy in the Waddington Suite.

It is a fantastic opportunity to come and see our facilities for corporate and private parties as well as a look around the bars and concourse areas. It is also a great chance to bring along the kids to catch a glimpse of your favourite Stoke City players.

The player's dressing rooms will be open for viewings as will the Potteries Shopping Centre Family Stand, Delilah's Bar and the Match Day Control Room.

Family Passes for Total Fitness are up for grabs as is a £100 Thomas Cook voucher.

The West Stand is available for refreshments and the Club Shop and Ticket Office are open for business.

There is an entry fee of £1 unless you are under 16 then entry is free, all money raised will go to the John Ritchie Alzheimer's Fund and the Football in the Community reg charity.

Come along, this is one of the best chances to rub shoulders with the first team and see behind the scenes at Stoke City FC.
