Mark O'Connor is anticipating goals galore as top of the table City travel to Southampton tomorrow afternoon.
The Potters are bang in form following back-to-back wins against Cardiff and Charlton, whilst the Saints have yet to get off the mark following two defeats on the bounce.
With the likes of Marek Saganowski and Grzegorz Rasiak in attack the City coach doesn't believe attacking will be their problem.
But insists City have just as much fire power at their disposal, saying: "They are good going forward, but so are we.
"I think it will be a very open game with lots of chances, we have a good defence and hopefully that will stand us in good stead.
"Saganowski and Rasiak are both very good players, but I think Ricardo and our other strikers have already shown what they are capable of."
Despite languishing second from bottom after defeats at home to Crystal Palace and away at Norwich, O'Connor believes George Burley's side are far better than their league position suggests.
He says: "I watched their game at Norwich on Saturday and I thought they were very unlucky.
"They had one or two decisions go against them, and hopefully their misfortune will carry on tomorrow.
"From what I saw they should have finished the game off by half-time, they have good strength in depth and I'm sure they can still be a major force this season."
