Gabriel Zakuani has today agreed to rejoin the Potters on loan from Premiership side Fulham.

The 21-year old defender made nine appearances last season during a short spell in the Potteries and today links up with the club once again.

Gabriel joined the Craven Cottage club for an initial £1m in July 2006, but has thus far failed to make an appearance for Lawrie Sanchez's side.

The DR Congo international is expected to go straight in to the squad for tomorrow's clash with Wolves.

Manager Tony Pulis says: "We really liked the kid when we had him here last season, and we've moved in again after seeing he is nowhere near Fulham's first team.

"He can play anywhere across the back four and so he should be a good addition for us. He's young, athletic, strong and with reasonable pace.

"The supporters seemed to like him last season and appreciate his whole-hearted, enthusiastic approach."
