It'll Be Tough, But We're Going To Win
Assistant Manager Dave Kemp is expecting a tough test in tonight's game with West Brom.
City travel to the Hawthorns on the back of Albion's 5-1 trouncing of Queens Park Rangers on Sunday but Kemp believes the Potters have nothing to fear and will be going into the game with our own plan to win.
"I watched the game on TV, we had people there too and we'll watch the video again a couple of times before the game," explained Dave.
"We're aware of what they are going to bring to the table so we'll prepare for that.
"They've got a lot of very good players and they're in really good form as you saw on Sunday.
"They throw a lot of people forward, they've got good quality in all positions so it's going to be a big test for us.
"But it was a big test when we went there last year and we got a very good result.
"It was a great day, the fans had a great day there as well and hopefully we can do it again tonight.
"They're going to be on a high, they had 25,000 thousand people there on Sunday for a TV game, and everything was going in their favour.
"But when we turn up we want to get there and quieten them down.
"If we can get into our own tempo and our own game, we can take the game to them."
Tonight's clash also sees Belgian defender Carl Hoefkens line-up against the club for the first time since his August departure and Kemp is looking forward to speaking to Hoefkens before the game.
"He did well here, I understand he's doing a good job there and it will be nice to see Carl again at the game.
"But he plays for West Brom now and we're Stoke and we're going down there to win."
