Ryan Shawcross has been called up to the England U21 squad for the international friendly against Wales next month.

Stuart Pearce has selected Ryan for the third time following his impressive performance against Poland at Wolves last month.

The match will take place in Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground on Thursday 15th May.

If City are still in competetive action the club will discuss possibilities of withdrawing Ryan from the squad at a later date.
