Four Head Out
The club have allowed Demar Phillips, Adam Rooney, Ritchie De Laet and Ryan Shotton to all join other clubs on trial.
Phillips, 24, has headed to League One outfit Oldham Athletic and is set to play a part in their game away at Grimsby Town this afternoon.
The Jamaican international joined the Potters in August last season and made just two appearances from off the substitute's bench, including his debut in the 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United at the Britannia Stadium.
Rooney, meanwhile, will travel out for a week long training camp in Denmark with Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The Irish striker spent time at Chesterfield and Bury on loan last season and also scored in last night's 3-0 friendly win over Newcastle Town.
Elsewhere, defensive duo De Laet and Shotton will both link up with Bournemouth following a partial lift on their transfer embargo after coming out of administration on Thursday.
Neither player has played a competitive match for the Potters but De Laet was named as an unused substitute last season while Shotton spent time on loan at Altrincham.
Both could be involved when the Cherries face FA Cup winners Portsmouth at Dean Court on Monday night.
