Club Praise Well Behaved Fans

Posted on: Tue 07 Oct 2008

Stoke City supporters are the seventh best behaved supporters in the Barclays Premier League, according to a Fair Play Table released by the League today.

The table, that includes the behaviour of fans upto and including the home match with Chelsea, sees the City faithful up in 7th place with 49 points.

Points are compiled from marks awarded by Premier League Match Delegates who are present at every game, with ten points the maximum a club can be given for each match.

Prize money of £20,000 is awarded to the club whose supporters are deemed to be the best behaved at the end of the season.

We would like to thank the supporters for their fantastic vocal support and good behaviour during every game so far this campaign.
