Stoke City Football Club will be giving supporters a world first tomorrow after linking up with local interactive technology company CandiTV.
The new initiative will enable all attendees at the Britannia Stadium to call in their 'Man of the Match' before watching the votes build up on the brand new Giant Screen.
The new voting system, which will be used for the duration of this season, couldn't be simpler; all you need to do is keep an eye out on the big screen until an announcement is made on 60 minutes that lines are open to register your man of the match.
Once they are, you are then able to call in your vote to 09113 0604 followed by the squad number of the player of your choice. So for example if you would like to choose Thomas Simonsen, then you would add '01' at the end. Alternatively if you wanted to vote for Rory Delap then 09113 0604 '24' would be the number to text in.
From there, regular bar charts will appear every five minutes signalling who the top three players are in percentage terms, before the winner is announced on 80 minutes.
As well as this, supporters attending the clash against league leaders Liverpool will also be able to participate in a new interactive pre-match game called 'Whack A Pottermuss', which again can be played via their mobile phone.

All supporters who take part in the game will have their score registered into the system and will then receive a standard text message (no cost to supporters) with a unique code, which they can redeem at any of the Club Outlets, which will give them 15% off their purchase, before 19th January 2009.
Announcing the news, Stoke City Head of PR Steve Buxton said: "We have been looking down various avenues for ways to utilise our superb Giant Screen, and we are delighted to be working in partnership with CandiTV.
"Supporters have been able to vote for their man of the match at grounds around the country for a long time now, but we are the first in the world to incorporate the giant screen into it.
"We have also worked alongside CandiTV to produce a number of games, the first of which will be used tomorrow, and we are extremely confident that this and the new man of the match voting system will be a huge success."
Man Of The Match:
·All votes are charged at a minimum of 50p though some mobile networks may charge more.

·All supporters who place a vote will be placed into a free prize draw and receive a courtesy text message.
