City's long throw maestro Rory Delap is set to get back on the bike for the Donna Louise Trust.
Last year, Rory and some of his friends cycled 172 miles from Whitehaven on the West coast of England to Tynemouth over on the East to raise money for the children's hospice.
Due to the great success of last June, with nearly £3000 being raised, Rory will be making another gruelling trek, this time 122 miles between Edinburgh and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, all in aid of one of the Potters' five registered charities. The ride begins on 17th June.
He will be making the trip with the same group of friends who took part last year, with a couple of additions to the team.
Rory is a big supporter of the charity, is looking forward to challenging himself again in aid of this great cause.
"I've done a bit for them before," he said. "Seeing young kids who are very ill is pretty hard take, so I'm pleased to be able to help the charity.
"Having kids myself makes the message really hit home, and really made me want to do something to help the children at the Donna Louise Trust.
"They do great work at the hospice and hopefully we will get plenty of support like last year. Hopefully some of my team mates will chip in again as well."
