DERBY COUNTY 2 (Pearson 49, Mendy 90)
STOKE CITY 2 (Lawrence 7, Fuller 65)
A last minute goal from Arnaud Mendy denied the Potters victory against Derby County in an entertaining pre-season friendly at Pride Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Potters looked to be on course to seal a comfortable victory against the Coca-Cola Championship side after goals from Liam Lawrence and Ricardo Fuller either side of a Stephen Pearson strike made it 2-1.
However, the hosts secured a share of the spoils in the 93rd minute thanks to Addison, who acrobatically found the back of the net after a scramble inside the 6-yard box, much to the delight of the majority of the 23,000 supporters inside the stadium.
Tony Pulis received a pre-match boost with the news that defensive duo Abdoulaye Faye and Ryan Shawcross had overcome their minor injuries and were deemed fit to start the game after missing out on the midweek trip to NottinghamForest.
Matthew Etherington meanwhile was ruled out despite initially being named in the starting eleven. The former West Ham man was replaced by Rory Delap as a precaution after feeling his hamstring tighten up during the pre-match warm up.
The Potters looked bright and effective during the opening stages and it wasn't long until they found a breakthrough after Lawrence curled an effort goalwards, which ricocheted off Addison and looped over Stephen Bywater and into the back of the net.

The hosts pushed forward in search of an equaliser and very nearly got one after Ryan Shotton misplaced a pass straight into the path of striker Stephen Davies who drilled just wide of Thomas Sorensen's right hand post.
Pearson then tested the Danish number one from range before Dean Whitehead fired an effort just wide from 10-yards shortly before the break.
Following the interval the hosts looked a lot more lively and set off in search of an equaliser; one which came just five minutes in when Scotland international Pearson rose unmarked inside the penalty area and powerfully headed the ball past Sorensen.
The confidence of Nigel Clough's side seemed to raise following the goal and they very nearly snatched the lead in the 60th minute. Substitute Giles Barnes whipped a dangerous ball into the danger zone which Davies met only to see it dip just over the crossbar.
Pulis made his first changes of the afternoon minutes later with Fuller, Michael Tonge and Leon Cort introduced. The changes instantly paid off as Fuller put the Potters ahead minutes after coming on.
A somewhat rejuvenated Kitson brilliantly danced his way into the penalty area and lofted a delightful ball across the penalty area to Fuller, who then juggled with the ball and exquisitely smashed the ball into the far corner, leaving Stephen Bywater with no chance.
The skilful Jamaican continued to cause the Rams backline a number of problems following his superb strike, and only a brave header from Adam Exley denied Whitehead what would have been a clear shot at goal after he ghosted in at the back post.
The lead could have been extended on a number of occasions following the goal with Shawcross heading inches over from Michael Tonge's corner, whilst both Danny Pugh and the lively Dean Whitehead narrowly missed with long range efforts.
The Potters played down the clock and looked comfortable. Only when the additional three minutes of added time was announced did the Rams really look like scoring. A deep ball into the box from former PotterKrisCommons was well dealt with by Cort who put the ball out for a corner.
From the resulting ball Sorensen was forced into making a superb stop to deny Addison before Mendy followed up with a sublime scissor kick which fired through a crowded 6-yard box and into the back of the net right at the death.
