Pulis Plans Changes
Tony Pulis plans to ring the changes for City's Carling Cup clash at League One side Leyton Orient on Wednesday evening.
The trip to the Matchroom Stadium will be City's third successive away match and comes ahead of a crucial home match in the Premier League against Sunderland at the weekend.
Pulis has made no secret of where his priorities lie, but insisted: "We will be going there to win the game because we would like a good cup run.
"It will however be a different team to the one that played at Birmingham on Saturday because the last thing I want is my players returning from east London at three or four o'clock on Thursday morning when we have a big game on Saturday."
He added: "We have some good back-up players in the squad and this is an opportunity to take a good look at them and for them to catch the eye."
Pulis will be up against a familiar face because Leyton Orient are managed by his long-time friend and fellow Welshman Geraint Williams.
"I've known Geraint since he was 13 years old although it's been some time since I've seen him," added City's boss.
"I know that Orient will be a very competitive side who will get the ball down and pass it, similar to the way Geraint got them playing when he was in charge at Colchester. So we know it's going to be difficult for us."
