TONY PULIS today looked forward to "a cracking cup tie" against Arsenal . . . and urged Stoke City supporters to get behind the Club's bid to reach the fifth round.
Pulis' side face the new Barclays Premier League leaders in Sunday's fourth round encounter at the Britannia Stadium and insisted that it would be a tough test irrespective of the side that Arsene Wenger fields in the FA Cup tie.
But with a significant number of tickets remaining for the game, City's boss said: "Arsenal have sold all their tickets and now I want our fans to fill the other three sides of the ground because we're going to need all the support we can get.
Pulis watched the Gunners in the two Premier League wins over Bolton Wanderers in the past five days which have lifted them to the top of the table.
And he insisted: "Arsenal may have a number of injury problems, but they wouldn't be sitting at the top of the table if they didn't have a strong squad.
"Arsene Wenger has signed some of the best young players in the world and has developed them since they have arrived in England, so whoever plays, there is no doubt that we will face a formidable test from a side in top form at the moment.
"We will be giving it our best shot and it will be important that the fans really get behind us, so we need to sell the tickets that are still available for the game."
Pulis added: "While Premier League survival is our priority, that doesn't mean that we won't be playing our strongest side and working our socks off.
"We know the way that Arsenal will play, whoever is in their line-up, and it is important that we are tactically astute against one of Europe's top sides.
"They break on you in numbers and they have a knack of finding little pockets which can expose you at the back if you are not careful."
Tickets are on general sale for the FA Cup fourth round tie against Arsene Wenger's side which kicks off at 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon at the Britannia Stadium.
Category B match prices apply for the game, except for under-11s who pay just £5.00 for their ticket.
