TONY PULIS put Stoke City's hard-fought point at Sunderland on Monday night into perspective by proclaiming: "That's a £30 million stroke force we've just shut out."
The Potters subdued highly-rated strike pair Darren Bent and Kenwyne Jones to keep a clean sheet and earn a goalless draw in the live televised match.
City also had their chances to win the Barclays Premier League match as they extended their unbeaten run to five matches since the start of the year.
"That's a £30million strike force and they haven't had a shot on goal," stated a proud Pulis after the game at the Stadium of Light on Monday evening.
"You look at Darren Bent, who cost them £15million, and you look at Kenwyne Jones, who some people say they've turned down £15million for."
"There's only two teams who have come here and won so that shows you how tough it is. It's a great point for us and we could have even got all three."
He added: "I thought the lads were brilliant because it's always difficult coming to the Stadium of Light with the crowd and everything else."
