World Cup Boost For Huth

Posted on: Fri 05 Feb 2010

ROBERT HUTH has today received a major boost to his hopes of going to the World Cup Finals in the summer.

Stoke City's £5million defender has been included in Germany's squad for next month's friendly against Argentina.

It is Huth's reward for his excellent form in the Premier League this season following a move from Middlesbrough.

The 25-year-old centre back, who represented his country in the last World Cup Finals in Germany, was recently included in a 30-man training squad as coach Joachim Low considers his options for the Finals in South Africa.

Huth has not featured in Germany's plans since he toured Asia with the squad at the end of last season.
