New Date Confirmed For Burnley
STOKE CITY have received confirmation of another new date for their Barclays Premier League match against Burnley at Turf Moor.
The game, which was originally due to be played on Saturday 9th January, is now scheduled to take place on Wednesday 10th March.
Bad weather forced the postponement of the match in January and now City's FA Cup quarter final at Chelsea has led to another switch.
It was originally rearranged for Tuesday 9th March, but has now been put back 24 hours to the Wednesday night to the Potters an extra 24 hours to recover from their live televised cup tie at holders Chelsea on the Sunday.
City have also announced that they are looking at an alternative date for their Marco's Stoke Kitchen event due to take place on March 10th.
The evening in the company of world renowned chef Marco Pierre White will also feature Ryan Shawcross, Liam Lawrence and Rory Delap, all of whom will now be in Premier League action at Turf Moor on that particular night.
*A new date for the Premier League visit to Fulham is yet to be confirmed due to the Cottagers participation in the Europa League and FA Cup. The game was due to take place on Saturday6th March, but both sides are in FA Cup action.
