STOKE CITY will feature in five live televised matches in the early stages of the new season . . . and four of them are games at the Britannia Stadium.
The Sky Sports cameras will be present for successive home matches against Aston Villa and West Ham United in September, a month in which their Barclays Premier League visit to Newcastle United will also be televised live from St James' Park.
Two of the Potters' biggest matches at the Britannia Stadium will also be broadcast when Manchester United are the visitors on Sunday 24th October and then Tony Pulis' side take on Liverpool in front of their own fans on Saturday 13th November.
The choice of television matches means that the Villa game will be switched to the Monday evening of 13th September with an 8.00pm kick-off and then five days later they entertain West Ham for what will be a 12.45pm lunchtime kick-off.
City will then find themselves under the television spotlight for a third successive week when the trip to newly-promoted Newcastle is moved to a 4.10pm kick-off on Sunday 26th September to accommodate the Sky Sports coverage.
Four weeks later, the Manchester United match has been provisionally arranged for a 1.30pm kick-off on Sunday 24th October but this may be subject to change due the to European commitments of Tottenham Hotspur.
If Spurs are involved in the Europa League by then and a have a tie on the preceding Thursday, their Premier League match against Everton, which is also being televised by Sky Sports, will be moved to the Sunday lunchtime spot.
That will mean City's meeting with United being switched back to the Saturday afternoon, but it will kick-off at 12.45pm for the Sky cameras.
The fifth of City's televised matches against Liverpool is being screened by ESPN and will kick off at 5.30pm on Saturday 13th November.
