TWO lucky Stoke City supporters have been kitted out in the brand new adidas 2010-11 home strip after winning a competition in a local newspaper.
Mrs Jo Bratt, from Cheadle, and Mr Francis Carnwell, from Kingsley Moor, were selected to win the kit after correctly answering that Ryan Shawcross scored City's first goal of the 2009-10 campaign in the Cheadle Times & Echo.
The pair were presented with their prizes when they visited the official Club Superstore at the Britannia Stadium with their families on Tuesday afternoon.
One of the chosen winners Francis Carnwell revealed his love for the new design to stokecityfc.com, saying: "I think it is lovely, even better when you see it close up, and I'm sure the players will look fantastic when they step out in it next season.
"Hopefully, it brings the lads a little bit of luck out on the pitch next season." He added: "Unfortunately, I am a little bit old to be wearing the kit, so I am letting my grandson have it. He is a huge Stoke supporter and he is very happy with the strip."
If you haven't purchased the new home kit for the 2010-11 season yet, then you can place an order right now by visiting SCFCDIRECT.COM.
Alternatively, visit one of the three official stores at the Britannia Stadium, Potteries Shopping Centre in Hanley or the Roebuck Shopping Centre in Newcastle.
