STOKE CITY supporters will be proudly showing off their colours in far flung places over the next few weeks . . . and the Club are offering jet-setting holidaymakers the opportunity to win prizes in a special 'Home and Away' promotion.
As the schools break up and people head off on their summer travels, City are inviting fans to submit holiday snaps in their new adidas home shirt for a special picture gallery which is being created on the Fanzone section of the Club's website.
The best photographs of your home shirt while away will win prizes . . . with a set of the new away kit for the 2010-11 season, which goes on sale on Monday 2nd August, on offer to winners of the following categories:
*The furthest distance away
*The most unusual location
*The largest group of City fans
City's new home shirt will no doubt be worn by many fans heading off for some summer sunshine before the start of the new season.
Football fans are proud to show off their colours on the beaches, in bars and restaurants and can often be seen in the terminals of airports all over Europe, and indeed much further afield, during such a busy holiday period.
Supporters should email their photographs to homeandaway@stokecityfc.com or alternatively send them by post to the Media Department at the Britannia Stadium with details about the destination of your holiday.
Pictures containing clear evidence of the destination, such as a famous landmark, will undoubtedly have a better chance of winning, while those taken before the start of the summer holidays can be submitted by fans.
The 'Home and Away' promotion is also open to those travelling abroad for reasons other than a holiday during this period.
The photographs will be posted on the 'Home and Away' gallery as soon as they are received and then judging of the best entries will take place after the closing date which is midnight on Thursday 30th September.
So get snapping City fans . . . and visit www.stokecityfc.com/fanzone regularly to see who has been on their travels this summer.
