STOKE CITY supporters are now being offered the chance to get closer to the Club they love . . . with the next best thing to being a Season Ticket Holder.
Fans who sign up for the new Silver Membership category will enjoy many benefits of a scheme which recognises and rewards loyalty at each of its levels.
One of the big advantages of becoming a Silver Member will be that supporters who want to attend matches at the Britannia Stadium on a regular basis will be given priority access to tickets for home games before they are then placed on general sale.
But there are many other benefits to be gained from being associated with the Club in this way that will hopefully strengthen those ties in the future.
"We appreciate that some of our loyal fans are unable to commit to a Season Ticket for one reason or another, but becoming a Silver Member means they can develop a closer association with the Club," explained City's Chief Executive Tony Scholes.
"As well as many benefits, they will be given priority access to tickets for home and away matches and they will also receive direct communication.
"Hopefully, this will encourage them to come to the Britannia Stadium more often so they eventually see the value of becoming a Season Ticket Holder.
"A prime objective of Membership is to build our supporter base and this gives us a chance to show Silver Members they are important to us."
An important consideration for those interested in a Silver Membership is the record-breaking level of Season Ticket sales for the 2010-11 season which will result in a high demand for a smaller number of match tickets throughout the campaign.
Silver Members will have priority access to those home tickets before they are placed on general sale, a privilege they will also receive for away tickets where they will follow Platinum Plus, Platinum and Gold Members in the order of preference.
Among the other benefits of being a Silver Member, there is 5% discount off merchandise in the Club Stores, a Membership pack and monthly offers, while the Club will also establish direct lines of communication through a monthly e-newsletter.

They are also available from the Club Stores in the Potteries Shopping Centre and the Roebuck Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
